RMA Discount Regulations Hold Councils Accountable

The Resource Management (Discount on Administrative Charges) Regulations came in to effect on 31 July 2010.

The regulations provide for a discount of 1% per day, up to a maximum of 50 working days for both notified and non-notified resource consents applications not processed within the timeframes specified in the RMA.
